I was contacted by Uncommon Goods to see if I had interest in sharing their website to all of you here at Mommy & Love. Since this was a new brand to me, I decided to browse their website to see if I could find value… And yes, I most certainly found value! So let me introduce Uncommon Goods to you!
I LOVE when a company has a beautiful story behind it’s business pursuits.
Uncommon Goods was created in order to bring emerging artists to consumers in a sustainable fashion. They are proudly certified as a B Corp company, meaning they have passed rigorous standards ensuring sufficient wage levels (lowest paid seasonal employees get 50% more than minimum wage), eco-friendly product materials & packaging, and community donations. They have been awarded for outstanding customer service every year since 2007; and in 2015, the BizRate Platinum of Excellence Award.
See why I love them? This is a business with compassion and morals. They understand the importance of the arts industry, high employee wages, their company’s environmental impact, and sharing the wealth. For every purchase, they let the customer choose a $1 donation to their non-profit of choice through their Better to Give program.

If you need a present for the significant man in your life, I recently picked out a sweet brewing kit for my husband. We just celebrated our fifth anniversary on February 4th. I can’t believe it’s only been 5 years — lol. It feels a lot longer since our relationship spans over 11 years! Anyways, we’ve reached an exciting benchmark in our relationship and will be heading to Chicago soon for a bigger celebration!
Anyway, he’s currently brewing beer now — Oktoberfest style!
TOO much fun! Now, we just have to wait for the beer to ferment, so we can enjoy our brew!
