Did you know that you can bring your two year old bowling? …And that both of you will have a blast?! I went bowling last night and was pleased to see the accommodations our local bowling alley provided for tiny bowlers.
They (obviously) set up the bumpers so the bowling ball wouldn’t end up in the gutter. That is always a big help, even for us adult bowlers who can’t throw a ball straight!
They had a special bowling ball that weighed 6lbs behind the counter just for the little bowlers. AND they also had a super awesome bowling ball ramp to help them get the ball past their typical speed of 2.4mph! You simply set the ball on the top rack and then they can push it just enough for the ball to roll down the ramp and lane at a decent speed. Pure genius.
My little girl is 33 months old, not quite 3 years yet, and she had an absolute blast! She thought it was so cool to see the bowling pins fall down. She was really excited and emotionally into the game. She even sighed when someone missed the pins!! I definitely recommend taking your toddler bowling if you haven’t tried it yet. They’ll love it! I was surprised by how much she laughed and laughed throughout the game!
