Did you set your New Year’s Resolutions yet?
Did you even plan to set any resolutions? If not, it’s not too late to change your mind. It’s only January 3rd; there is still plenty of time to lay out some goals for this brand new year! Truth be told… Goal-oriented individuals actually accomplish the things they want to do instead of simply dreaming about them.
So, plan out your New Year’s Resolutions and start bringing them to life!
My Resolutions & Grand Plans for 2015:
Instead of saying “I want to… [insert goal]”, tell yourself “I will… [insert goal]”. This actually helps me to take action and accomplish my goals instead of just having my head in the clouds. When I say I will do something, I want to actually listen to myself! One of my biggest concerns is that people view me as naive and overly optimistic. This is one of my biggest motivators for accomplishing dreams!
Body & Soul:
I will practice gratitude.
I will meditate 5 minutes+ before bed each night and say my prayers.
I will eat a healthy vegetarian diet and focus on gaining muscle weight through exercise.
My exercise will consist of being more active outdoors, weight lifting, and yoga.
I will attend a holistic health fair.
I will make $1,000+ from my own small business.
I will make $5,000+ from selling breastmilk to Mother’s Milk Cooperative.
I will find another source of side income.
I will attend a blogging conference.
I will spend more quality time with my husband and children.
- We will build a kitchen table.
- We will fix up our jungle gym/play set.
- We will repair our barn.
- We will adopt a dog and a (third) cat.
- We will learn how to raise chickens and Angora bunnies.
- We will significantly improve our gardening skills.
I will only stop breastfeeding when my son desires and self-weens.
My husband and I will celebrate our third wedding anniversary with a weekend getaway.
I will take my daughter to a “mommy/daughter” class or activity.
(There is a “Little Farmer’s” class at a farm near our old town. I would like to find something similar around our new home. If not, my daughter would love to attend a gymnastic or dance drop-in class.)
