Is there a snoring problem at your home? I’ve had to deal with my husband snoring obnoxiously loud every single night for the past few years. He works 60+ hour weeks at all different hours so when it is time for bed, he passes out within seconds of hitting the pillow. Two minutes later, the snoring begins. I have had the pleasure of listening to his snoring for hours on end thanks to my insomnia that has plagued me since my second pregnancy. Let me tell you, it is not fun. My husband has been kicked, elbowed, suffocated, and shoved repeatedly in my attempts to stop him from snoring… He doesn’t have bruises, I promise.
In theory I don’t mind having insomnia because it gives me the perfect amount of time to focus on meditation and rid my emotions of the day. However, it is impossible for me to meditate next to someone who is exhaling like a dying hog suffering panic attacks. He not only annoys me with the sound of his snoring, but he scares me half to death every twenty minutes or so with a super loud gasping type of snore. Dear sweet Jesus.
So if you are suffering from the same problems I am, you will be pleased to know that I have found a solution. Actually, my mom told me what to do after I complained to her and seriously considered buying a house with a separate bedroom just for myself. It really is a simple solution. I have been able to sleep in peace for an entire week so far! And many of those nights, I laid awake for more than two hours… Still no snoring!
Easy Fix for Snoring: Place a second pillow underneath the snorer’s head.
No joke. If two pillows don’t work, try three. My husband was willing to do whatever it takes so I wouldn’t wake him up repeatedly at night to stop him from snoring. He has been using a body pillow folded in half. He is propped up and by some miracle it stops the snoring!
Peace at last.
